Inside, tactile surfaces of wood, stone and textiles create warmth and texture, offering a handcrafted contrast to the engineered metal kitchen. Architects Caroline Hahn and Ebbe Lavsen emphasize this restraint: “Pursuing a palette of only five materials, processed as little as possible, was a guiding design principle in the transformation.”
