Hello everyone — I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and found some time to rest and enjoy the season. I took a slightly longer break from my usual blogging rhythm this year to recharge and focus on a few projects behind the scenes. During that quieter period I worked on some site improvements and refreshed the blog’s look. I’m excited to be back now with a brand new design and some updates that should make the site easier and more enjoyable to navigate.
As the year closes and a new one begins, it felt like the right moment to give the site a cleaner, more contemporary presentation that highlights the content more clearly and improves the reading experience. The redesign keeps the heart and personality of the blog intact while streamlining several elements so posts, images and resources are more accessible. I’ve focused on clarity, better typography, and a layout that adapts smoothly to different screen sizes so the site looks and feels great whether you’re on a phone, tablet or desktop.
I also used this opportunity to update some of the site pages that hadn’t been refreshed in a while. The About page now better reflects the direction of the blog and shares a little more about how I approach projects and styling. The Press & Awards page has been reorganized so recent features and mentions are easier to find, and I’ve cleaned up older entries for a tidier archive. These updates are intended to make it simpler for readers, collaborators and editors to get a quick, accurate sense of the blog’s work and evolution.
In addition, I added a new FAQ page that addresses the practical and recurring questions I receive most often. On that page I cover topics such as my approach to design, sources of inspiration, and a few technical notes about the tools I use. For example, readers frequently ask about photography and the kind of equipment I use for shoots; the FAQ gives insight into my workflow without getting overly technical. The goal is to offer helpful answers that save time for both longtime readers and new visitors who want to know more about the creative and technical side of the blog.
I’m particularly pleased about the refreshed workflow for publishing and organizing content. Over the break I refined the way I catalog imagery, tag posts and present series or extended features. That work should make it easier for you to find past posts, follow themed content and discover related articles. If you enjoy a particular topic — whether it’s interior styling, product finds or behind-the-scenes studio work — you’ll find it simpler to locate related pieces and explore them at your leisure.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to start the new year working from the new studio. I’ll be sharing a full reveal of the space soon, with photographs and notes on how the studio functions as a creative hub. The studio is designed to be both practical and inspiring, and I’m looking forward to documenting how it shapes upcoming shoots and styling projects. Expect a detailed post that covers the layout, storage solutions, lighting choices and the small decisions that make a creative space work well day to day.
